In order to consider the climate and energy crisis, SDE carries out carbon audit such as Bilan Carbone® and is developing strategies to reduce carbon footprint.
The Bilan Carbon® aims to quantify the Greenhouse gas resulting from human activities and evaluate their fossil fuel dependency. Considering the results, the company or local authority will adopt realistic and progressive strategies. This second step consists in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and in reorganizing the activity to face the fossil fuels scarcity and their increasing prices (the Peak Oil is expected to happen around 2015). SDE special skills are to carry out Bilan Carbone ® for companies and local authorities in relation to the marine environment (for all other types of organisations please visit our website : www.ecoscienceprovence.com). If you wish to undertake your Bilan Carbone ® and/or adopt a carbon strategy, feel free to contact our team.
